11/7/98 Post-postscript: I am still a money grubbing capitalist
but less so and very happy now that I'm volunteering as well as exploring
a career in the go go arts, having made a spectacle of myself at a Halloween
party and in an LA nightclub. It's all the saudade* I'm dancing out. I
am less motivated by money. If one can play soccer all day on the beach,
laughing and enjoying friends and family, who needs it? Well, we need it
but maybe not as much as we thought**.
Stay tuned, and please don't tell me about any typos. It's hard enough
finding the time to type it all in! I'll proofread later. OK, I guess you
can tell me if you're nice.
